| THE ADVANTAGES OF BEING A WOMAN ARTIST: Working without pressure of success. Not having to be in shows with men. Having an escape from the art world in your 4 free-lance jobs. Knowing your career might pick up after you're eighty. Being reassured that whatever kind of art you make it will be labeled feminine. Not being stuck in a tenured teaching position. Seeing your ideas live on in the work of others. Having the opportunity to choose between career and motherhood. Not having to choke on those big cigars or paint in Italian Suits. Having more time to work after your mate dumps you for someone younger. Being included in revised versions of art history. Not having to undergo the embarrassment of being called a genius. Getting your picture in the art magazine wearing a gorilla suit.

| Excerpt from CBS 2 news :p
Sex is more satisfying in countries where women and men are considered equal, according to an international study of people between the ages of 40 and 80 by researchers at the University of Chicago.
Austria topped the list of 29 nations studied, with 71 percent of those surveyed reported being satisfied with their sex lives.
Spain, Canada, Belgium and the United States also reported high rates of satisfaction.
The lowest satisfaction rate — 25.7 percent — was reported in Japan.

| Myspace scares me more and more each day. It's like a new garden of eden for child predators. Soooo I'll most likely delete it soon. I like facebook better anyway :D.
I'm coming back to Jersey May 14-15. My dad is gonna drive from NJ to Chicago to pick up all my crap. I won't be needing an apartment while I'm out of the country.
I dunno what else to say. Lately, Dede told me that I'm apathetic and disheartened. I can tell too. AND I don't like it. It's as if I don't care about anything beside my school work *bang head. I blame Chicago bitter weather. But my 5 months summer break should cheer me up!!!
Hmmm what else....I'm going to enter the 2006 Adobe Achievement Awards (digital photography category) and I currently won some local Illinois art competition. Yay...money toward my tuition. I hate tuition going up every year. It just makes me wanna shoot myself. My younger sister is attending a university next year "good luck dad". O yea..I recently screwed up with the plane tickets to Greece which I blame expedia.com for being misleading! I'm supposed to arrive a day earlier..not later...$250 penalty......sorry this update is like mumble jumble. I just haven't updated in a while. Oh and I think Zoey is transferring to my school fall 2006!! YAYY!! That shall be fun!!!!!! I now will have a gallery buddy!!! | comments: 3 comments or Leave a comment |
